Mudding Legally

Howdy ya'll! It was a pretty quick week for me, and I dont remember too much, but here goes! Monday: We put Graca on date! She's so excited to learn as much as she can and is so happy to progress. She loves the gospel and is taking in everything she can! The way to her house isn't a true road, so its tons of muddy potholes and after tons of rain, mini lakes. So we consistently went through super muddy terrain and if you check out the photo album you can see how bad it got! After we came back we went shopping and prepared to have a nice braai, like a barbecue. The steak was fantastic! Tuesday: Exchanges with Elder Ramialson! He said he loves hearing me teach and that he's happy that our area is growing so rapidly! He's excited to see what else we can do. Being our DL, he was very proud of how much I've grown so far in this exchange. A great day! Wednesday: I don't remember anything special happening on this particular day. But lots of lessons and tons of cont...

The Work Hastens

Howdy ya'll! It was a great past week and I'm sorry for the late email. It was a busy week and a busy day but all good anyways! Monday: Last Monday was pretty productive. Elder Müller and I got the bakkie serviced and hung out with the  Ga-Kgapane elders all day. We also had the senior couple over to help clean out the extra fridge we had in our flat. It was covered with black mold inside but Sister Andelin dove right in and started scrubbing without fear. She's awesome! Tuesday: a very good and fulfilling day! We taught many lessons and met even more members. Lots of success and inspiration! We had a service project and dug a nice trench in the road for a family who needed to connect the water line to their home. Very fun physicsl labor! We also began teaching a new friend named Molefe and his first questions for us were about baptism. We're very enthusiastic about his potential! Wednesday: Another hard working day. We met with a lot of new people but also found a coup...

The Real Work Begins

Howdy ya'll, my friends and family! It's been an eventful week, so ill get straight into it. Monday: Last Monday was pretty mellow, Elder Gutierrez had just ledt and so I felt more free. I had a great time hanging out with the zone playing sports and eating together. They're a load of great people. Tuesday: The trio of Elder Redondo, Elder Mwenda, and myself first chose to start in Tickyline on Tuesday. We went around contacting and teaching like normal, and found 3 new people who were very interested. It was a good day. Wednesday: This was our Lenyenye day. I stuck with the other two elders as we went through their area teaching and contacting. It was another successful day. Thursday: Transfer day!! It was so exciting picking up Elder Edwards to head down to Pretoria to pick up my new comp and his greenie! Since it was a long drive, me and him were able to talk alot and get closer. When we got our new comps, I discovered that I was lied to and Elder Müller is actually from...

Epiphany

Howdy all! This week was a lot of the same. Good, but a lot of the same. Monday: Last Monday was pretty boring for a pday. A lot of sitting around, but I hung out with Elder Beamer a lot. He's a chill ZL so we were able to have some pretty laid back condos. Tuesday: Comp exchange with my buddy Elder Redondo! This was the first day thay I really realized how trunky Elder Gutierrez was. He was really holding me back. This isn't to say that he was a bad missionary, because he was always so powerful in the lessons. He was just ready to go home. Anyways, with Elder Redondo we actually went finding in Tickyline and got a couple interested people. Wednesday: It was me and Elder Redondo again. We went finding again and found a bunch of people who wanted us to come back. Great day! Thursday: Elder Redondo came with me AGAIN and we did some more work. It had been raining the past few days and we did get stuck. This time the mud wasn't as deep, but I had to push the bakkie up an inc...
