Transfer Soon??

Howdy everybody! Hope ya'll are doing well! This week was interesting, some good some bad. I'll just get right into it.

Monday (last): I went over this in my last email, I know it was long but if you missed it, it's towards the bottom!

Tuesday: This was a rough day, all contacts and no lessons. Good contacts, but we didn't have any opportunities to teach anyone anything.

Wednesday: The best day of the week for pros!! We had 5 lessons scheduled and every single one of them happened! Each one had a separate topic and we were able to go over all sorts of aspects of the gospel with each separate person! It was spiritually uplifting and a great day.

Thursday: We turned around from the spiritual high and dropped back down again. We had two lessons and both of them were iffy about listening. We invited them to come to church and read the BoM but no one wanted to keep going.

Friday: My first Zone Conference! This was an amazing and spiritual day. The talks and trainings were absolutely amazing and I learned so much. Sister Holme's message was fantastic, and I'll go over it a little later. We were fed wonderfully after and we were able to talk about what we learned. We had a fantastic time with the different zones and I met some new amazing people. It was a great day!

Saturday: Back to regular pros, nothing special happened. No super powerful lessons, a lot of contacts. Normal stuff.

Sunday: We started the day off going to church, hearing a few great messages. Some good testimonies, and after we had a fantastic meal at a member's home. It was the best food we've had so far. After that we went and did some contacting with Elder Redondo because it was too hot for the bikes to be used. Overall a good end to the week.

Spiritual Thought: As I said before, I'll be going over Sister Holme's talk from Zone Conference. She spoke about the Armor of God. She explained what armor it was based on and why. She explained that it was based off of the Roman Empire armor, and explained some of their war tactics and asked us to apply it to our lives. She told us about how they never performed for themselves, they never did more than what was required of them. They got the job done and found a way to push through the battles to become dominant in their time. We, as missionaries, we're likened unto them. We have to be the dominant army, God's army. We have to work together and do it for the world, not for ourselves.

Until next time!
Love you all,
Elder King
