What's up!

This week has been one for the books. I've met some real amazing people and I can't wait to see what in-person MTC has in store for me. Home MTC was a real challenge for me because I had to spend nearly 8 hours every single day on some sort of Zoom call. Most of them were just my district, but a couple of the calls had almost 900 people on at the same time! It's absolutely crazy what technology can do these days!
One of the good parts, though not the greatest, was my opportunity to meet my companion for the next two weeks, Elder Christensen. His testimony is unshakeable and whatever he adds to the lesson or study just holds so much power! I can't wait to see what he does in the mission field. Even though he was a close second, the very best thing I've been able to experience this week are the amazing lessons, taught by my amazing teachers! I can't wait to see how their teaching styles change once I see them in person.
The last thing that I want to mention is how hard the full transition will be. I'm so used to everything here and it'll be a tough route to get used to what I'll be doing everyday. The differences will be mounting, but they're good differences.

Spiritual thought: 1 Nephi 8:12 "And as I partook of the fruit thereof it filled my soul with exceedingly great joy; wherefore, I began to be desirous that my family should partake of it also; for I knew that it was desirable above all other fruit." One of the things that seemed to keep coming up this week was the Vision of the Tree of Life. This verse stands out because it explains that once Lehi partook of the fruit (God's love), his first instinct was to share it with those closest to him. I can only hope that these emails do the same!
